You will complete online coursework and then come together on the last weekend to complete the NWCG-certified training. You get 2 classes for the price of one\, in a schedule friendly to the working volunteer firefighter or one who may be traveling. \nS-230 & S-231 topics include operational leadership\, preparation and mobilization\, assignment preparation\, risk management\, entrapment avoidance\, safety and tactics\, offline duties\, demob and post-incident responsibilities. \nThe online instructor lead self study portion is open on Jan. 26\, 2026 with 2 in person hands on days on Feb. 7 & 8\, 2026 @ the Weed Campus TTC-32 Room 101
