About Us
The Siskiyou County Fire Warden Program is a county-wide training coordination initiative serving all fire departments within Siskiyou County. Managed jointly by CAL FIRE Siskiyous Unit and the College of the Siskiyous Fire Technology Program, this program provides structure, leadership, and consistency in fire service training across the region.
In collaboration with all municipal and volunteer fire departments, the program ensures that firefighters at every level — from new recruits to seasoned professionals — receive high-quality training tailored to the unique emergency response challenges of Siskiyou County.
Our Mission
To lead and coordinate fire service training throughout Siskiyou County by providing clear standards, accessible resources, and interagency cooperation — under the leadership of CAL FIRE Siskiyou Unit and College of the Siskiyous.
Our Role
This website is the central training and communication platform for fire service professionals across Siskiyou County. Here, firefighters and department leaders can access training schedules, certification pathways, course materials, policy updates, and more.
Whether you’re launching your fire service career through the College of the Siskiyous, volunteering in a rural community, or leading training operations at the department level, the Fire Warden Program is here to support and unify the county’s approach to professional fire service training.
