S-230 Crew & S-231 Engine Boss – HYBRID Class

This NWCG class is being taught in a hybrid format. You will complete online coursework and then come together on the last weekend to complete the NWCG-certified training. You get 2 classes for the price of one, in a schedule friendly to the working volunteer firefighter or one who may be traveling.

S-230 & S-231 topics include operational leadership, preparation and mobilization, assignment preparation, risk management, entrapment avoidance, safety and tactics, offline duties, demob and post-incident responsibilities.

The online instructor lead self study portion is open on Jan. 26, 2026 with 2 in person hands on days on Feb. 7 & 8, 2026 @ the Weed Campus TTC-32 Room 101
